LOCKE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES            Draft 08-06–2020

A Special Meeting of The Locke Township Board was held July 30, 2020 in the Locke Township Hall, 3805 Bell Oak Road.

Present:  Hart, Turner, Fuller, VanDooren, Shepler.  Also present:  Bob Davis, Christine McGoron, Ron and Dawn Harris, John Roy Castillo, Roxanne Houghton, Susan Cockerill, Julie Rudd. 

Absent: None.

Call to order at 7:00 PM by Supervisor Hart followed by pledge to flag. 

Action on July 14, 2020 Twp Bd meeting minutes.  Motion VanDooren, second Shepler to approve the minutes of July 14, 2020 regular Board of Trustees meeting.  PASSED {5-0}. 

Action on Resolution 2020-01 Resolution to Adopt Millage Proposal for Williamston Area Senior Center.  Motion Hart, second Turner to adopt Resolution 2020-04 Resolution to Adopt Millage Proposal for Williamston Area Senior Center. 

Discussion on Strategic Plan and budget received from Senior Center and opinion from Township Attorney Thomas M Hitch.

Public Comment

Roll call vote:  Yes- Turner, Shepler.  No- Hart, Fuller, VanDooren.  Motion to Adopt Millage Proposal for Williamston Area Senior Center FAILED {3-2}.

Adjournment:  Meeting adjourned at 7:47 PM by Supervisor Hart.
