Locke Township Treasurer – 2025 – Present

Skills/Qualities: I am a very honest person and make it my mission to treat others as I would like to be treated. I am very loyal and devoted and have a strong sense of duty. I put my all in everything I do and always try to give 100 percent. 

Achievements/experience:

I worked for the State of Michigan for over 32 years in many different departments. I have worked in adult prisons, prisons for the criminally insane as well as juvenile detention centers. I worked at both Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette and Grand Rapids home for Veterans. I completed my last 20 years with the State working for the Department of Health and Human services specializing in Medicaid.

I began working for the Township as a trustee in 2019 and became a member of the Planning Commission shortly afterwards. I retired from the State in 2024 to run for a permanent position on the Board of Locke Township as the clerk. I then transitioned over to the treasurer when the position became available.

Hopes to accomplish: To always be a voice for the residents of Locke Township.
