- Presentation / Public Comment: We will be having a presentation from a ITC Representative sometime during this meeting. The representatives, name is Ben Terrill and he is going to the Williamstown board meeting and then coming to ours. When he shows up, we will finish what we are working on, then start his presentation. After presentation, he will leave the meeting, then we will open the floor for public comments. If you have comments or questions for ITC, you will have to attend one of their open houses.

*Supervisor Lott has determined that a Lab Top is not a needed expense for the Township and is not wanting to go forward with his request.
*Supervisor Lott and Clerk Shinkle sat in on a Zoom meeting with the Townships New Web Master on December 23, 2025 and discussed our Web Page and next steps.

*Resolution Poverty Guidelines and Income/Asset Test 2026-01: Supervisor Lott has put in the numbers given to him by Locke Townships assessor and if there is no questions or comments, he is looking for a motion to accept Res 2026-01. *Resolution Township Officers Salary 2026-02: Supervisor Lott has updated the Township Officers Salary by following the recommended (2.5%) as shown on the Resolution #2026-02 Sheet. *Wages Review: 2026-27 Locke Township Wages, Supervisor Lott wants to discuss if we should raise the wages or leave the same. Questions or Comments at this time? *Draft- General Budget Worksheet: Supervisor Lott has entered all the new numbers to the 2026-2027 General Budget Worksheet. Any questions or comments? Make sure you go through this and if you find something you want to discuss, let me know.
*Lawn Maintenance has been taken care of for next year.
*Planning Commission: Dorothy Hart has decided to step away as Planning Commission Secretary as of December 31, 2025, also in June she will be stepping away from her seat on the NIESA Board. At this time, I just want to take a moment and give a big thanks to Dorothy Hart for all the years of service to Locke Township, you will be missed. Supervisor Lott is open to whoever may want to take over the NIESA Board seat in July.
*Planning Commission Seat: Supervisor Lott is appointing Steve Hunt to the Township Planning Commission open seat for a 4 year term, expiring 12/31/2029. Motion_____, Second_______. All in favor say aye_____, all opposed say nay______. Motion passes/fails?
*Locke Township Planning Commission Annual Report 2025: Supervisor Lott has attached The 2025 PC Annual report, any questions or comments?
*Cemetery Ordinance: Sexton Fuller would like us to discuss the ordinance on Plastic Flowers for the summer season in Township Cemetery’s. Such as, the flowers being placed in erns or hangers so they cannot be hit by weed whips or mowers and that the flowers be of decent quality so they cannot blow out of the holders. Anything out of holders will be discarded, with all this being said, we would have to have new signs made to replace our brand new signs. Questions or comments?

Supervisor– Has reached out ITC Holdings Corp. many times and left messages with no response yet. Also, I have had conversations with County Commissioner Monica Schafer about options and many township members about their concerns.
