The Locke Township Board met February 9, 2021 in the Locke Township Hall, 3805 Bell Oak Road.
Present: Hart, Turner, Rambo, Shepler, Davis. Also, present: David Carlson, Christine McGoron.
Absent: None.
Call to order at 7:00 PM by Supervisor Hart followed by pledge to flag.
Additions to agenda/approval of agenda: None.
Public Comment/Presentations: Christine McGoron read prepared response to discussion recollection she asked of Board Members regarding January 12, 2021 Supervisors Report-webmaster domain relinquish (Declined to leave copy, will e-mail portions to clerk), of which she asks for retraction to be included in the minutes.
Unfinished Business:
Blight Ordinance draft distributed and discussed. Need a more detailed Blight definition.
New Business:
Resolution 2021-02 Township Officers Salary.
Supervisor-Motion Turner, second Shepler that as of April 1, 2021 the salary of the Township Supervisor shall be $11,496 annually, exclusive of assessing duties. Roll call vote; Yes-Rambo, Shepler, Davis, Hart, Turner. No-None. PASSED {5-0}.
Clerk-Motion Davis, second Turner that as of April 1, 2021 the salary of the Township Clerk shall be $16,512 annually and $400 per each election conducted. Roll call vote; Yes-Hart, Turner, Shepler, Davis. No- None. PASSED {5-0}. Consensus on clarification of additional election salary.
Treasurer- Motion Shepler, second Hart that as of April 1, 2021 the salary of the Township Treasurer shall be $15,924 annually, winter and summer tax collections. Roll call vote; Yes- Davis, Hart, Turner, Rambo, Shepler. No- None. PASSED {5-0}.
Trustee- Motion Hart, second Rambo that as of April 1, 2021 the salary of Township Trustee shall be $144 per Township Board meeting and $60 per additional meeting when approved by the Board. Roll call vote; Yes- Shepler, Davis, Hart, Turner, Rambo. No-None. PASSED {5-0}.
Budget worksheet reviewed. Motion Hart, second Turner to schedule Budget Public Hearing for March 9, 2021 at 7 PM. PASSED {5-0).

Resolution 2021-03 Poverty Guidelines and Income/Asset Tests Resolution. Motion Shepler, second Hart, to approve Resolution 2021-03 Poverty Guidelines and Income /Asset Tests Resolution. Roll call vote; Aye-Davis, Hart, Turner, Rambo, Shepler. Nay-None.

Lawn Maintenance in 2021
Chase Lawn Care bid-Rowley, Bell Oak & Shaftsburg Cemeteries.
Motion Turner, second Davis to accept the 2021 Lawn Care Maintenance bid from Chase Lawn Care for Rowley, Bell Oak & Shaftsburg Cemeteries. PASSED {5-0}.

*Treasurer- Jan Treasurers report distributed. Motion Shepler, second Hart to approve accounts payable checks #5084-#5108 in the amount of $122,519.74. PASSED {5-0}.
