Nathan Lott – Supervisor candidate
Skills/qualities. Worked for and owned construction companies for the last 30 years. Basketball coach for last 25 years. A proven leader as a coach and business owner.
Achievements/experience. Married to wife Kelly, have 4 beautiful children. Lived whole life in Locke Township. Has pride in coaching achievements – 4 league titles, 3 district titles and 1 regional title at Webberville High School.
Hopes to Accomplish. Continue at this new position as a great leader for Locke Township, help families solve issues they have or incur throughout his term. Like the country song says “Team work makes the dream work”.
Marcy Shepler – Clerk candidate
Skills/qualities. Served as Locke Township Trustee since 2019 and a member of the Locke Township Planning Commission.
Achievements/experience. Resident of Locke Township almost 50 years. Married 36 years to husband Steve. Worked for the State of Michi- gan over 30 years. Licensed Real Estate agent since May 2016. Have learned a great deal about the inner working of the Township and have enjoyed learning and advocating for our township residents.
Hopes to Accomplish. Keep Locke Township as a place where residents feel comfortable and heard. Advocate for what residents’ feel is important.
Sheri Rambo – Treasurer candidate
Skills/qualities. Successfully held various positions of trust and stewardship over the years, including serving as both registrar and treasurer for a sports organization until 2019.
Achievements/experience. Happily married
to husband Mike for 39 years. Lived in Locke Township for 37 years. Have 4 adult children. Grateful for the opportunity to serve Locke Township as Treasurer since 2020.
Hopes to Accomplish. Integrity, personal trustworthiness and a strong sense of personal responsibility are very important. If re-elected, will continue to apply these same principles.
Jean Coe – Trustee candidate
Skills/qualities. A lifelong member of the Family Life Wesleyan Church FNA Rowley Wesleyan Church. Treasurer/member of the church board for eighteen years.
Achievements/experience. Retired from the banking industry after 45 years which included appraisal specialist and residential/commercial loan processor. Married to husband Tom for
45 years and raised 3 boys within the township.
Hopes to Accomplish. My blend of faith, ability to look objectively at issues, financial proficiency and community roots make me an excellent candidate for the position of Trustee.
Ty Hull – Trustee candidate
Skills/qualities. Lifelong resident of Locke Township. Dedicated life to animal and crop farming with family in this area. Believe this first hand experience gives deep understanding for our community. Has worked for Ingham County Road Department for 6 years, aiming for safe road conditions day and night.
Achievements/experience. Married 3 years to wife Diana. Current vice-president for Road Department union. Current Locke Township Planning Commission member.
Hopes to Accomplish. Striving to keep Locke Township a rural community. Providing a voice and perspective of the farming community. Because of dedication and passion for Locke Township, I believe I would do my community proud to be elected for this position.

THE MICHIGAN STATE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY [MSHDA] has awarded Locke Township a Housing Readiness Grant in the amount of $22,750. The Township
will use the grant to update the existing 2004
Master Plan. The new Master Plan will stress the importance of housing expansion while effectively preserving prime farmland, along
with other Goals, Objectives and Strategies. The Locke Township Planning Commission has begun the update with the help of Williams and Works – engineers, surveyors, and planners.

CONSUMERS ENERGY plans to complete replacement of 55 miles of transmission pipeline in Clinton, Shiawassee, Ingham, Livingston and Washtenaw Counties in 2024. The two-phase, $550 million project will replace vintage 20” pipeline dating back to the 1940’s with 36” pipeline that will move natural gas quickly, safely and efficiently. Phase II, passes through the southwest portion of Locke Township. Pipeline Corridor Encroach- ments must be avoided. AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT [ARPA] provided federal COVID-19 relief funding to local governments. The Locke Township Board identified our roads as the greatest impact priority and utilized the full amount distributed, $195255, for roads from this unprecedented opportunity.
